Marketing Freelancer
Aardvark Music Ltd. seeks an experienced Freelance Marketing Representative to cover their Rock & Pop Division.
In terms of the Aardvark team, we are small in size with a family type vibe. We are looking for individuals who are seeking a long-term involvement. Please note that this is a 'commission based' post (paid as a percentage of download/cd sales of material the post-holder would have marketed, plus a percentage of B2B licensing deals (synch deals and content licensing deals).

Marketing Assistant (work experience)
We are also seeking a Marketing Assistant (un-paid work experience) to assist the Marketing Director of the Aardvark Dance sub-label at our Penryn, (Cornwall-UK) HQ. There is a strong likelihood that his post will become a paid permanent post. However, all applicants should bear in mind that currently this is an unpaid work experience post.
You must have excellent writing skills - and a good ability to add some creativity to create snappy corporate communications. A willingness to learn online and digital marketing applications is essential. Audio and video encoding experience would be ideall.The successful applicant will be part of a team updating our company Blog, social networking sites, contacting press/media/broadcasters and handling or digital portfolio of content online.
You will also have a wide knowledge of dance music genres.

Freelance A&R/Licensing Agents
We currently have vacancies for experienced (minimum
3 years) freelance A&R/Licensing Agents. Our roster
has blossomed in the past
6 months and we require experienced individuals to
place projects domestically and abroad. You will have
a proven track record in A&R and international
licensing and an established network of contacts.
The ideal candidates will also have solid relationships
with press, radio and media.
Specifically speaking, we require a Pop and Rock
all-rounder, an Electronica and Dance Music all rounder
and an Urban and R&B all rounder.
In terms of the Aardvark team, we are a small in

Freelance Booking Agents
We currently have vacancies for experienced Booking
Agents. By 'experienced' we mean that you will have a minimum of 5 years' booking experience with a ready made network of contacts. You will know the lingo. You will also have an expert knowledge of booking contracts and negotiating live appearance conditions.
You will be responsible for booking our acts for
live appearances including festivals, music venues,
tours, events and television. You will have a strong
relationship with promoters, venue managers and appearance
bookers. For tour bookings, you will have knowledge
of working with tour managers. You will also have
experience of scheduling, travel booking, insurance
and distribution of promotional materials.
You will be working directly with our director of
marketing and promotions.
Specifically speaking, we require a Pop and Rock
all-rounder and a Electronica and Dance Music all rounder.
We are offering a generous commission-based package. Applicants do not have to be resident within Cornwall.
