Little Spitfire (Surrey, UK) indie rock college rock April 2001 - Kirsten looks for a hard-hitting drummer for her new band, the criteria: "..a cross between Keith Moon (The Who) and Animal (The Muppets)." She meets Lee. Little Spitfire had started. Time went by happily, but they soon realised that something rather skinny with jet black hair was missing, the engine, Stu. With Pat finally joining in early 2005. Little Spitfire emerged out of raw passion for rock/pop music with attitude. After meeting Kenny Jones (Producer) a couple of years before, they received a call from him and in November 2004 he locked them away in his north London studio (Alchemy) to make a record. This they did and Honesty was the result. The 13 tracks take you on a journey and whether you see The Spits play live or listen to their record you are drawn in, they are sincere, passionate and from the heart. With the support of Clair Sturgess (Xfm), winning 'battle of the bands' for Eagle fm, playing countless gigs and festivals including Guilfest, Little Spitfire are now out there spreading the word. Watch this space... "...totally honest, in-your-face, feel good Rock and Roll." Kirsten Blakley/Lead Vocals Lee Miller/Drums Stuart North/Guitar & Backing Vocals Pat Paxton-Gray/Bass
