Falcon Beach, Canada's popular answer to the
US teen drama The O.C.,has licensed the track 'No Way Out' by UK indie act Little Spitfire.
Sarah Webster, the show's music supervisor, has licensed music from major Canadian recording artists as well as indie artists from all over the globe. The Little Spitfire track was used as part of a set piece between two of the show's main characters in Episode 111.
Part of the ABC television network, Falcon Beach is unique among Canadian TV series in that the producers film two versions of each episode. The first is for Canada and uses Canadian geographic references and terminology. The second version is done for the United States and uses American geographic references and terminology.
Set in the fictional resort town of Falcon Beach, Manitoba, (New England for U.S. viewers) the program is a teen drama similar in style to The O.C.
The show's continued popularity has seen it being picked up by international broadcasters - another international platform which introduces Little Spitfire's sound beyond the UK.

About Little Spitfire
April 2001 - Kirsten looks for a hard-hitting drummer for her new band, the criteria: "..a cross between Keith Moon (The Who) and Animal (The Muppets)." She meets Lee. Little Spitfire had started. Time went by happily, but they soon realised that something rather skinny with jet black hair was missing, the engine, Stu. With Pat finally joining in early 2005.
Big vocals, hyperactive guitars, bad-a*sed
bass and periodically evil drumming is the
stuff stage diving was made for. The hooks
and lyrics are extremely memorable but its
the high octane energy level that will get
you every single time...
Little Spitfire emerged out of raw passion for rock/pop music with
attitude.
With the support of Clair Sturgess (Xfm), winning 'battle of the
bands' for Eagle fm, playing countless gigs and festivals
including Guilfest, Little Spitfire are now out there spreading
the word.
