About Jeff Alford
Jeff Alford just might hold the key for igniting another dance floor revolution while putting France on the global map of dance music.  He certainly holds the key for exporting electronica that captures the imagination of dance music enthusiasts outside of his adopted French homeland. Clubbers around the globe find themselves dancing to the beats of Jeff Alford’s new album, ‘Heart of Trance’, released on the UK record label Aardvark Records.

Alford has set Belgium, Sweden, Portugal, America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand on fire with his hot trance single ‘Visions in Space’. The single has been a ‘breakout’ chart hit on Belgium’s Tempo Radio.  DJ record pools, services that send out singles to thousands of club and radio DJs, have also been big supporters of the single.  It has gone on to grab top chart spots with American DJ and record pool services such as Masspool and Infamous Record Pool, to name just a few.

About Aardvark Records
Aardvark Records Ltd- oft described as a Fair - is one of the rising stars of the UK music industry. It is a staunchly independent record label with a growing roster of original, new talent covering a variety of music genres: Indie Rock, Folk, Dance, Electronica, Adult Contemporary and Pop music.

Aardvark is about getting its artists' music heard by as many people as possible. Our passion for music is our foundation and it enables us to identify, develop and pursue traditional and new avenues to achieve this. We are aware that sometimes traditional approaches and ideas can't be adapted to suit new trends, so we are not afraid of creating new solutions when addressing the forever-changing landscape at the cutting edge of music distribution. We like to think out of the box. We like to try new mediums which showcase our artists' talents, for them and for lovers of new and original music.

We've racked up a series of firsts. We were one of the first record labels to use podcasting. We were one of the first labels to support internet radio. Other firsts include: providing music videos to YouTube, Google Video, Singingfool, ROO TV and a host of other online music video entertainment wesbites; providing full tracks on MySpace, Reverb Nation, Bebo and Last.fm; setting up a blog to share our thoughts about music industry developments and news; and using widgets for people to share our music and our videos with their mates.

Recent audio content provision deals such as the one struck with the gaming company Audio-Surf, is a continuation of our ethos...making music for the people - and not for our accountants.

We're not about big advertising spend or huge marketing budgets or telling people what to buy in order to look cool. We're just about adventures in music.
