It has been confirmed that Zetan Spore returns as one of the headlining acts to appear at Sunrise Celebration music festival in May. The live psy trance duo joins other national acts including The Orb, Eat Static and System 7. This year’s event will also include the appearance of a top BBC Radio 1 dance music DJ.
The Award winning Sunrise Celebration festival is back for the 3rd year from 29 May to
1 June 2008, featuring an inspiring mix of the very best in alternative culture, and continually committed to setting new standards in sustainability.
The festival plays host to 12 stages in 13 arenas providing 24 hour entertainment from more than 200 live bands and 100 DJs. Additional entertainment includes workshops, forums, flamboyant fun and frolics, impressive installations and all manner of creative expressions over the 4 days. Revellers will enjoy an eclectic blend of dub, world, ska, electronica, dub-step, psy trance, breaks, reggae, folk, Balkan beats and all manner of stompingly good tunes from rising stars, established favourites and surprise collaborations, in line with Sunrise’s shining musical reputation.
Zetan Spore’s music can best be described as driving, euphoric psychedelic / acid trance with didgeridoo fuelled tribal breaks, plus guitar and occasional vocals adding more depth and power to their sound. The highlights of Zetan Spore's extensive live performances include a two hour set to a 25,000 strong crowd at the Euphoria Festival in Singapore and headline sets for Antiworld at the Stratford Rex in London and the infamous Monastery in Torquay, not to mention most of the best underground clubs, live music venues and festivals in the the UK.
Twin brothers Ian and Mark Hasdell have a reputation for creating the most uplifting and energetic vibe at their gigs and parties, they’ve built up a large and enthusiastic following and never fail to fill the dancefloor. Their music has been played on radio stations covering most of the globe.
