Progressive
Goa Trance
Since his childhood, Christoph Allemann (a.k.a
Timeliner) has been fascinated with the world
of synthesizers and electronic sounds.
In his early days, he composed his own songs
and had fun to playing them to audiences at
school.
In 1995 the upcoming techno-scene in Switzerland
inspired him to do some live-acts at Goa-parties
with what was then some pretty basic equipment:
a ROLAND TB 303, MC 202, TR 808 and a Clavia
Nordlead. These helped him to discover his musical
orientation.
Only a few years later, he dared to do the
next step. Using some new tools, he found new
ways to sculpt his own sound: with computer,
plugins, new synthesizers and the technical
support from his brother Thomas Allemann (a.k.a
Duneflyer www.duneflyer.com ), Over the past
5 years Christoph has developed his own style
and worked on the selection for his first album.
The label Reflect Records, www.reflect-records.ch,
released his album in 2010 under the name "Zeitwerker
- Monkeyplanet" on itunes. Several tracks
were played by live-acts, e.g. at Space Bar
(Chili Air Lombok, Indonesia); and were also
available on my homepage www.timeliner.ch as
well as mx3.ch.
Reflect Records released more tracks from him
in 2011. The EPs "Zeitwerker - Night´n
Day" and "Zeitwerker - Kathodenstrahlosziloskop
/ Observatorium" were released in the Spring.
In addition to producing his own releases,
Christoph is worked in close collaboration with
the well-known guitarist Tony Castell, www.tony-castell.ch,
on his second album " PROTRAOA", released
by Aardvark Records.
